My name is Lisa Howard, AKA “Gizz”. 

I grew up on a ranch north of L.A. in the late 50’s and early 60’s. 

Dad was from a long line of thoroughbred owner/breeders that included his grandfather, owner of Seabiscuit.

 I am a traveler with a particular love for Ireland, Mexico, and England. Skiing, skating, backpacking, and a daily trek up Deervale trail keep me kicking. (along with the occasional I.P.A.)

My bartending career included work at the Goodmixer, Camden, London which later became Amy Winehouse’s local pub, and The Lighthouse, the Hermosa Beach jazz bar of LaLa Land fame.

Hildy, a 140 lb. Great Dane/ Mastiff rescue, my beautiful daughter Camden (master’s degree!!!), and caretaker Alex, check for vitals and keep me out of trouble.
